Company Profile:

The Canadian Fire Rescue College (CFRC) provides firefighter training to individuals seeking employment in the fire service, and to individuals already employed by a fire service looking to enhance their skills. The CFRC is also a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner, and offers all levels of first aid training from Standard First Aid, to professional Emergency Medical Responder levels. The CFRC is a licensed Private Vocational College through Alberta Advanced Education, is a Certified Educational Institution through the Government of Canada, and is a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) authorized through Immigration Services to accept international students. The college provides publically offered classes regularly throughout the year, and also books private groups for specialized training in all aspects of emergency services education.

The Canadian Fire Rescue College currently works with many municipal Fire Departments in Alberta and British Columbia, in addition to several Indigenous groups, private industry clients, and the Red Deer Airport. The CFRC provides on-location training, and interactive virtual training upon request to make fire and emergency services training more accessible, but has also now made training on-campus more convenient and accessible than ever. Our new Red Deer campus is centrally located, and provides complimentary living accomodations to up to 110 staff and students, a professional kitchen serving 3 hot-meals per day to staff and students, and a state of the art training facility. We have worked very hard to make sure that training is easily accessed by anyone in need, and have actively worked to remove barriers to education in the emergency services field.
