About the program

The First Nations Adult Education (FNAE) in Yukon and Northwest Territories Program provides funding to support First Nations learners in Yukon and Northwest Territories to access, prepare for, upgrade, complete, or obtain equivalency to secondary education.

Note that FNAE does not support activities that fall under the University and College Entrance Preparation Program (UCEPP).

How to apply

FNAE funding is based on work plans, proposals and other agreed-upon process and assessment criteria that are regionally-determined with First Nations partners.

Approved funding amounts will be based on the available regional allocations. Regional Offices will then determine recipient allocations to support eligible activities and expenditures.
