The earliest the support may be applied for is following completion of the first year of university studies (minimum 24 credit units) towards a Baccalaureate degree in a bona fide four-year baccalaureate degree program at an accredited Saskatchewan post-secondary institution, as determined by the College of Medicine Admissions Office and the Support Committee. Applicants will be eligible to apply to have their support renewed for two additional years if they have successfully completed courses towards their degree (at least 24 credit units per year) and maintained a minimum average of 75%.
