Scholarships totaling $55,500 have been endowed through a bequest by Anne Margaret Uphill for female aboriginal students who are pursuing a degree in any area of Health Sciences including Medicine. The awards are open to students in any year of study in either undergraduate or graduate programs and are made on the recommendation of the Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Health in consultation with Enrolment Services. In the case of graduate student nomination, the award is made in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
