- Other Eligibility Criteria:
- This award is paid in the upcoming Fall and Winter semesters, not the current Winter semester. Each award will be presented to a University of Regina undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: Is an aboriginal student (self-declared First Nation, Metis or Inuit); Lived in Saskatchewan for 12 consecutive months preceding date of application; Pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following: Arts (Economics, English, Journalism, Political Science, Resource and Environmental Studies) Business Administration Engineering Science (Computer Science, Geology) Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours in the semester the award is presented; and Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 65% and completed a minimum of 23 credit hours. NOTE- 1-Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated on-going volunteerism and/or community involvement; 2-The student may not hold a SaskEnergy Award, SaskEnergy Award for Mature Students or SaskEnergy Aboriginal Award in conjunction with any other scholarships or bursaries from University of Regina or elsewhere exceeding an aggregate total of $8,000 at the time of selection; and 3-Students must consent to completing and signing a Student Consent and Testimonial Form to be submitted to SaskEnergy.
