Project tracker
Projected lift date: TBD
Little Pine First Nation in Saskatchewan is home to 975 people on reserve. The community upgraded their water treatment plant with funding from Indigenous Services Canada. The system is producing potable water and water operator training is underway.
There is 1 long-term drinking water advisory:
- a boil water advisory on the Little Pine Public Water System was set in November 2018 and became long-term in November 2019
The advisory affects 300 homes and 10 buildings.
The Circuit Rider Training Program is providing operational support. When water operator training is successfully completed, the community should be in a position to lift the long-term drinking water advisory.
