Okanese First Nation in Saskatchewan is home to 190 people.

There is 1 long-term drinking water advisory:

The advisory affects 43 homes and 3 community buildings.

Interim repairs to the water treatment system have been completed. Once operations have improved, the community should be in a position to lift the long-term drinking water advisory.

Design is complete for a capital project to upgrade the system to meet the long-term needs of the community. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2024. It is expected to be complete in spring 2026.
