- This scholarship is intended for Mi'kmaw students from Nova Scotia First Nations or from the Nova Scotia General Band Registry; and post secondary students at the diploma, certificate, bachelor and graduate level in their field of study. Students must be a graduate or be continuing in their field of study. One scholarship is for undergraduate studies and the other is for graduate studies. Applicants must submit a two page essay stating their: educational goals, career plans, volunteer work, school activities, barriers students has had to overcome to do well in their field of study, cultural/community activities and awards.
