- The value of these scholarships is up to $42,500 over a period of four years of study ($8,250 per year), plus $9,500 awarded to students who work as summer research assistants. Applicants must have a 90% average and have provided significant leadership contribution in school and the community. In addition, students must be of Indigenous descent, or a person with a disability or a member of a racial minority. The award will be renewed annually provided that recipients remain enrolled in full-time studies and achieve an average of at least 80.0% in the previous academic year of full-time study and continue to demonstrate the leadership qualities for which the award was granted.
