- This award is available to Indigenous women in any program who plan to become more self-sufficient as a result of their education. In addition to common criteria, please observe the following: self-written letter outlining your educational goals and how you are going to become more self-sufficient as a result of your education. Please include a letter of reference from a community member or instructor talking about your commitment to your education. You will be asked to attend an awards ceremony. Financial need will be taken into consideration.
