- The Frith Family Award for Nursing Excellence was established in 2009 by the Styles Family Foundation (Jacqueline Frith Styles) in recognition of members of the Frith family who reside or have resided in Sudbury, including John Frith, Sue Anne Frith Kozman, Douglas C. Frith, M.P. and Howard Frith. It benefits students in the Nursing program at Laurentain University who are dedicated to their studies but require financial assistance in order to continue their studies. The Award recipient will receive priority for the Award in following years to enable them to complete their studies. Additionally, preference will be given to students of Aboriginal heritage. Application is required.
