    A call for proposals to help eligible First Nations students with high-cost special education needs is now closed. The deadline to submit a proposal was May 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm Eastern time.
  • Emergency Management Non-Structural Mitigation and Preparedness program call for application: 2021 to 2022
    A call for proposals for applications for 2021 to 2022 under this program is now closed. The deadline to submit a proposal was November 1, 2020 at 11:59 pm Eastern time. Applications received after the deadline may be assessed and accepted based on the availability of the funding.
  • FireSmart call for applications: 2021 to 2022
    A call for proposals for applications for 2021 to 2022 under this program is now closed. The deadline to submit a proposal was November 1, 2020. Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed if additional funding becomes available.
  • Inuit Cultural Education Centres Grant Program
    A call for proposals to provide grants to Inuit individuals and Inuit cultural education centres to develop and promote Inuit cultural heritage is now closed. The deadline to submit a proposal was May 7, 2020 at 11:59 pm Eastern time.

  • Research and Learning program
    The deadline to submit a proposal was 11:59 pm Eastern time April 30, 2020. Additional deadlines may exist in each region, please contact your regional office for further information.
  • Indigenous Community Support Fund: Urban and off-reserve Indigenous organizations and communities
    This call for proposals allows Indigenous organizations providing services to Indigenous peoples in urban centres or off reserve to access funding from the Indigenous Community Support Fund to prepare for and react to the spread of COVID-19. The deadline to submit an application was April 13, 2020 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
  • Education Partnerships Program 2020 to 2021
    This program is designed to advance First Nations student achievement in First Nations and provincial or territorial schools. The deadline to submit a proposal was March 31, 2020.
  • First Nations and Inuit Summer Work Experience Program
    This program provides youth with summer employment opportunities where they can gain work experience and develop important skills such as communication, problem-solving and teamwork. The deadline to submit a proposal was February 20, 2020.
  • First Nations and Inuit Skills Link Program
    This program helps First Nations and Inuit youth acquire essential employment skills and learn about job and career options. The deadline to submit a proposal was February 20, 2020.

  • FireSmart call for applications: 2020 to 2021
    A call for applications for wildland fire prevention and preparedness initiatives in First Nations communities. The deadline to apply was November 1, 2019.

  • New Paths for Education: Innovation activities 2018 to 2019
    A call for proposals to pilot innovative approaches in education and share results is now open. The three themes this year are Land-based education; Physical activity and sport; and Music and dance. The deadline to submit a proposal was May 15, 2018.
  • New Paths for Education 2018 to 2019
    A call for proposals to improve the quality of education in First Nation schools and to enhance the educational experiences of students, teachers, administrators, parents and communities is now closed. The deadline to submit a proposal for regular New Paths funds was May 1, 2018.
